A meeting of the CLARIN User Involvement Group, with participation
invited from all CLARIN countries, will take place as a pre-conference
workshop at the CLARIN Annual Conference 2016, in Aix-en-Provence, on
the morning of Wednesday 26 October. The meeting will have the topic
'Measuring Engagement, Usage and Impact of CLARIN in the Humanities and
Social Sciences', and will be a practical workshop on recording,
measuring, aggregating and disseminating evidence of the uptake and
added value of the CLARIN infrastructure. This will be an important
event for gathering evidence for the CLARIN annual reports, and we hope
that at least one person from each CLARIN member country will attend.

Participants will need to arrive in Aix on Tuesday 25 October in order
to be there in time for the meeting.

You will have seen that the CLARIN ERIC webpages have been updated to a
new design. There is now a new landing page for user involvement
activities, with links to key documents. This can be found at:

https://www.clarin.eu/user-involvement

The best way to start preparing for the event in October is to ensure
that our records for user involvement activities in your country are up
to date. Please let us know what has been happening since the last
annual conference via the webform at:

https://www.clarin.eu/group-page/webform-submitting-user-involvement-activities
(also linked from the page above)

Or send me details if you already have records online or in another
format. Please get in touch if you have any questions.

Best wishes,
Martin
