Dear all,

Even though unfortunately not too many of you will be able to join our discussion on Thursday, here nevertheless (or all the more) is the promised document [1]. It is certainly not perfect, but we spent quite some time on it and in my view it is the most comprehensive analysis of the issues with VLO including a number of practical recommendations produced so far (I can say this, because it was my colleague Go Sugimoto, who did most of the work. ;) )

We encourage you to take time to read through the document. You are welcome to comment directly inside the document (you may want to prefix the comments with your initials, as editing is allowed to anonymous) and also to join the meeting on Thursday, for which this document will be the base (but we will obviously have to constrain ourselves to just selected issues there).

Thank you.

Best,
Matej

PS
FYI: We will also have an oral presentation and demo at CAC concentrating in more detail on selected aspects (mainly the variation of values in VLO) that nicely complements this more general analysis.

Betreff: Curation TF - F2F meeting at CAC2015

Dear all,

As you may have seen, next week on Thursday morning there will be the TF slots at CAC. We decided for CMDI and Curation to sit together (at least partly) over both slots (9-11:15 room Berlin; 11:45-13:00 we may split to rooms Prague & Vienna if needed).

We (at ACDH) have been intensively working on the issue and are compiling some comprehensive material (analysis, findings, recommendations), which we will circulate beforehand, hopefully by Friday, worst case on Monday.

Could you please indicate, who will be able and willing to join us on Thursday morning, to know how many we shall expect?

Best,
Matej
