Subject: Homework for CLARIN Strategy Days - Athens (February 2026)

Dear National Coordinators and Committee Chairs,

We are delighted that you will be able to attend the Strategy Days in 
Athens in February!

As next year's Strategy Days will be used as a starting point to develop 
our next strategy (5-year period, 2027-2031), we would like to ask you 
to prepare for the meeting in advance. We have prepared a 'homework' 
document with questions (this was already presented in yesterday's NCF 
meeting, but I am repeating it here for those who missed it, as well as 
the committee chairs). This information will help to inform the 
strategic direction and priorities at the central level, identify good 
practices and synergies to facilitate cooperation across committees and 
consortia, and uncover gaps. It will also help you prepare for the 
breakout group discussions during our meeting.

We recognise that this will take some time and effort, but we feel that 
it is important to collect this information so that we can incorporate 
your perspective in the broader strategy process. The document can be 
filled out collaboratively, so please feel free to also share it with 
colleagues in your consortium or committee.
