[Userinvolvement] Planning of activities for 2021

Dear all,

I hope you and your close ones are doing ok and that your lives and work isn’t too disrupted by the second wave of Covid-19.

We are trying to keep our spirits up by planning an extra amazing 2021 and we would need your help with the following:

- The CLARIN Cafe has been a great success so we would like to continue with the monthly short, informal, thematic virtual sessions. Would your national consortium like to take one of the Cafes to present some interesting project, tool, etc.? Would a K-centre from your country be interested to present their services? If so, do let me know!

- We are starting a new initiative in which we are preparing showcases of successful and impactful research that has been conducted with the help/support of the CLARIN infrastructure / in which an aspect of the CLARIN infrastructure has been used. We are primarily interested in research which has a broader societal impact. If you know of any such research and/or researchers from your consortium, or K-centre, do let me know!

- We are collecting an overivew of relevant podcasts from the field of (computational) linguistics, digital humanities, social science, language-based data science, language-based AI, etc. We would like you to let us know if you know of any such podcasts in your country/region/globally so that we can have a more comprehensive overview and see if a) CLARIN could be featured in some of these podcasts, and b) if it could be valuable for CLARIN to start its own podcast series.
