This is correct. The display name (attribute cn) is based on the email
identity. We do however have an attribute 'clarin-full-name', release as
displayName attribute which should be editable.

I assume you have used https://catalog.clarin.eu/secure/shib_test.pl to
test. I can replicate the issue there and will look into it as well.
