Contributions of information about your user involvement activities

However, since we haven't had any contributions via this route
recently, I have gathered what information I can find from monthly
reports to the national coordinators' forum, and from national
websites, and made a Google doc containing all information that I

Please edit this document to correct, update and add to the
information there. I will also assemble and summarize information
contributed via the webform or sent directly to me.<br>

The information which we gather in the coming days will form the
basis of the documentation for the Annual Conference and the
Scientific Advisory Board. We will discuss further improvements to
our information-gathering for the annual reporting at the meeting on
26 October.<br>
<br>
The deadline for the first draft of the collection of user
involvement information is the end of Friday this week (7th
October). We will continue to collect information for the annual
report after this date, but this is the deadline to guarantee
inclusion of your data in documents for the annual conference.<br>
<br>
The organization of the meeting in Aix-en-Provence will be the last
action taken by me as I leave my role as Director for User
Involvement. I'm sorry to be leaving, but very happy to be handing
over to Darja Fišer, who will do an excellent job, and I am sure you
will enjoy working with her. I will continue as national coordinator
for the UK and continue to be in touch with you all.<br>

Two actions are now needed urgently to prepare for the User

activities. The main business of the meeting will be to aggregate
and review this information, and it is needed for the annual
report on activities this year at the conference. If you want your
country to be represented in the conference presentation on user
involvement, please fill in the form!<br>

As you know, a meeting of the CLARIN User Involvement Group, with
participation invited from all CLARIN countries, will take place
as a pre-conference workshop at the CLARIN Annual Conference 2016,
in Aix-en-Provence, 9:00 to 11:15 on Wednesday 26 October. The
meeting will have the topic 'Measuring Engagement, Usage and
Impact of CLARIN in the Humanities and Social Sciences', and will
be a practical workshop on recording, measuring, aggregating and
disseminating evidence of the uptake and added value of the CLARIN
infrastructure. This will be an important event for gathering
evidence for the CLARIN annual reports, and we hope that at least
one person from each CLARIN member country will attend.<br>
<br>
Participants will need to arrive in Aix on Tuesday 25 October in
order to be there in time for the meeting. The meeting will take
place at 9:00 before the NCF meeting, so it will be possible for
national coordinators to attend.<br>
<br>
You will have seen that the CLARIN ERIC webpages have been updated
to a new design. There is now a new landing page for user
involvement activities, with links to key documents. This can be
