[Userinvolvement] Workshop on the integration of CLARIN in university curricula

Dear National Coordinators and members of the User Involvement Committee,

With the goal of increasing lasting impact, CLARIN ERIC is organizing a workshop on the integration of CLARIN in university curricula. The workshop, which will take place in November 2019 in Utrecht (exact date and location will be defined soon), aims to bring together representatives from CLARIN countries who will present their experience with integrating CLARIN topics, lectures and courses in university curricula at Masters and PhD level, share their biggest obstacles and discuss possible solutions, discuss how the experience and materials can be better shared within the CLARIN network, and discuss the role and activities CLARIN ERIC could engage in to best support the integration process.

We therefore invite you to nominate 1 key person from your country with extensive professional, administrative and/or legal experience with the integration of CLARIN into university curricula, which can come either from curriculum building and policy making or from their first-hand teaching experience. Please send us your nomination by *21 June 2019*.

The nomination should include:
- Name, title and affiliation of the candidate
- Email contact
- Motivation for the nomination (250 words)

The selected candidates will be invited to present at the workshop and will also be required to fill in an on-line survey ahead of the workshop, the goal of which is to obtain an overview of the current state of affairs with respect to CLARIN’s presence in university programmes in CLARIN countries, collect information on key national initiatives and key national experts with important experience in this field.
