Thanks to everyone who participated in the Doodle poll.
Unfortunately there was no option that worked well for everyone, but
I picked the first option out of the best ones and hope this will
still work for most of you:<br>

Yesterday we had a meeting to discuss the strategy for future
CMDI and metadata curation activities. I have added notes for

We agreed that it would be good to continue this discussion in a
next meeting about three weeks from now. If you would like to
(continue to) participate in this discussion, please fill in the

I expect that we will have one or two of these meetings before
we will go into 'branched' mode and work on specific tasks,
while still having (less frequent) meetings to report and
synchronise on the various tasks.<br>

goals in the strategy document and add your own suggestions or

P.S. one of the things to discuss and hopefully decide on in the
next meeting is whether we want to change the way we use these
mailing lists, as they reflect the state of the task forces in
that they are technically separate but in reality treated as
one, which is confusing. For now, things will remain as they are
but be aware that there may be changes regarding the
communication channels in the relatively near future.<br>

usual has a preliminary agenda. As we will be discussing strategy rather
than ongoing work, the agenda is a bit different compared to most recent
meetings of our task forces, so please have a look and feel free to add
your suggestions if you have any.
I will also try to prepare a working document for the strategy and share
it some time before the meeting.

Last week the CLARIN Annual Conference took place in Leipzig and as
announced we had a meeting of the 'joint task forces' in the early
afternoon before the official opening of the conference. Although the

The main topic of this meeting will be a continuation and hopefully of
