[Tf-curation] CMDI / curation meeting @ CAC + next meeting

Hi all,

Last week the CLARIN Annual Conference took place in Leipzig and as
announced we had a meeting of the 'joint task forces' in the early
afternoon before the official opening of the conference. Although the
turnout was a bit less than at previous annual conferences due to
parallel sessions, I think we had a very constructive and open
discussion about the ongoing and future activities of the task forces.

There were many interrelated topics and we didn't stick to agenda in the
listed order all the time, I tried to organise the notes (thanks for all
attendees who contributed!) as much as possible and included a curated
version on the meeting page at

to amend or correct, especially if you were present at the meeting :)

We also have an open doodle for a virtual meeting towards the end of the

The main topic of this meeting will be a continuation and hopefully of
the strategy discussion we started during last week's meeting - I hope
we can make some good steps towards a concrete strategy for the short to
mid term. If you would like to join this meeting, please fill in the

PS I would like to especially thank Maria (ILSP) for joining our meeting
so that we could discuss the relation between the work in the relation
between ISO 24622-3 (CMDI pt3) and the activities in our task forces
despite being needed in the standards committee meeting at the same time.
