[Standards] Part-time position in CLARIN ERIC, deadline March 1st 2013

The CLARIN European Research Infrastructure Consortium (CLARIN
ERIC) has an opening for the *part-time position* (20% fte) of
*CLARIN ERIC Director for User Involvement*.

The chief responsibility of this position is to stimulate,
facilitate and coordinate the use of the CLARIN infrastructure,
its language resources, and its language services by scholars in
the Humanities and Social Sciences on a European scale.

We are looking forward to expressions of interest from
researchers who are thoroughly familiar with the digital
humanities paradigm. Prior familiarity with CLARIN and with its
mission and vision is a plus.

The position will require established connections with and high
visibility in one or more of the relevant research communities,
excellent communication skills, and willingness to work in a team
of co-directors.

*The tasks can be carried out at the applicant's home institution*
with an average workload of one day per week. Funds for
administrative support are provided. The applicant's home
institution will be reimbursed for the release time provided to
CLARIN ERIC on the basis of the applicant's regular salary (plus
overhead). Occasional travel to CLARIN events and participation
in (virtual) meetings of the CLARIN ERIC Board of Directors is
required. The initial appointment will be for a period of up to
three years.
