Hi everyone,
At the meeting in Oslo end of 2023, I talked about getting together to discuss the use of AI in libraires for cataloguing and metadata applications as opposed to the broader AI4LAM discussion. As sometimes happens, I moved to a new department, got involved with other projects and never managed to follow up with everyone (sorry!). We did also complete the Text API proof of concept work that I presented on - some outputs can be found at https://textframe.io.
However, with the advent of the Oxford OpenAI collaboration (https://www.ox.ac.uk/news/2025-03-04-oxford-and-openai-launch-collaboration-advance-research-and-education), I am once more able to work on AI (and specifically language models, large or otherwise) in a library context and would be interested in catching up with what people in the CLARIN Libraries group have been up to.
Looking forward to hearing from some of you (and maybe meeting up at a suitable conference).
Cheers
