searchRetrieve: Part 2. searchRetrieve Operation: APD Binding for SRU 
1.2 Version 1.0, in accordance with the conformance clauses stated therein.

The usage is centered around oclcsrw 
<http://code.google.com/p/oclcsrw/>, an Open Source implementation of an 
SRU 1.2 server that exposes a database interface allowing implementers 
to expose their databases via SRU 1.2. Database implementations are 
separately available for Apache Lucene and DSpace.
