Dear National Coordinators ,
As part of my new role as Scientific Programme Officer at CLARIN, I will 
be coordinating CLARIN's visibility and presence at key events across 
our community.
Today I am emailing with regards to the upcoming submission deadlines 
for LREC2026 [1]  in (11 - 16 May 2026, Palma de Mallorca). LREC remains 
the core conference for the wider CLARIN community. The 2026 edition 
will be particularly special, with Stelios Piperidis (National 
Coordinator for Greece/CLARIN-EL) serving as General Chair, alongside 
the involvement of several CLARIN colleagues on various programme 
committees.

To ensure a strong CLARIN presence throughout the event, we would like 
to encourage you to consider submitting proposals for workshops [2] or 
tutorials [3] as part of the pre- and post-conference programme. While 
many of you may already be preparing submissions for the main 
conference, these additional formats offer valuable opportunities for 
showcasing CLARIN-related work, attracting new and existing users, and 
enabling valuable exchange.

Please note: For each accepted proposal, CLARIN offers financial support 
to cover travel and accommodation for one workshop organiser, an invited 
speaker, or a tutorial lecturer.
