CDH Training Programme | Autumn 2025
Every six months, the Centre for Digital Humanities [10] (CDH) launches
a new edition of its free Training Programme [11] for staff and
students. This Autumn, we are excited to present a special lecture
series on the theme _'Digital Humanities in Times of Geopolitical
Turmoil'_. We will also explore the challenges and future of generative
AI in the classroom through a series of hands-on workshops. And some of
our popular training sessions are returning to the programme. Starting
this Autumn, UU staff from other faculties are also welcome to
participate in most activities.
We look forward to meeting you at our workshops, lectures [12], and
weekly Digital Humanities walk-in hours [13]!
ONLINE LECTURE SERIES
DIGITAL HUMANITIES IN TIMES OF GEOPOLITICAL TURMOIL
_Curated and chaired by Fabian Ferrari [14] (CDH affiliated member)_
From microchips to chatbots, artificial intelligence (AI) lies at the
heart of today's geopolitical tensions. As trade wars unfold and nations
race for technological sovereignty, AI becomes increasingly entangled
with geopolitical forces. This lecture series explores how digital
humanities can help us navigate this rapidly changing landscape.
