Dear TMO Community, We are excited to invite you to save the date for the upcoming 3D-4CH Winter School [2], which will take place from 21st to 23rd January 2026 at the Royal Museums of Art and History in Brussels [3]. This three-day event will bring together cultural heritage professionals from across Europe, including museum staff and digitisation experts, for an inspiring programme of keynotes, hands-on sessions and collaborative learning, all focused on the use of 3D technologies in the cultural heritage sector. The Winter School will offer targeted training and capacity building opportunities in the field of 3D cultural heritage, in close cooperation with the Twin it! Part II campaign [4] led by the Europeana Foundation and the European Commission. As a key training initiative of the 3D-4CH project, the Winter School marks an important step in developing and amplifying a 3D Online Competence Centre: a European hub for expertise, capacity building and professional training in 3D heritage practices. Whether you are already familiar with digital heritage tools or are just starting to explore new ways to preserve and share cultural assets, this Winter School is a great opportunity to share knowledge, trial tools, and develop best practices. Launching in September 2025, our Open Call will reveal more details of the Winter School programme and outline how you can get involved. It will also provide information on how to apply for financial support to join the event and benefit from its training and networking offers. For now, please save the date and stay tuned. We look forward to welcoming you to Brussels!
