Call for Papers: Annual Conference 2014
CLARIN ERIC is happy to announce the 3rd edition of the CLARIN Annual Conference and calls for the submission of papers. The Call for Papers can be found here: https://www.clarin.eu/news/call-papers-clarin-annual-conference. This year's conference will take place in Soesterberg, the Netherlands. CLARIN ERIC hires technical staff
In order to accelerate the construction of the CLARIN infrastructure, CLARIN ERIC has added two people to their technical staff: Twan Goosen will be working on the overhaul of the VLO and the Virtual Collection Registry, while Sander Maijers will take care of the Service Provider Federation and the Centre Registry.

New certified centres
As a result of the second centre assessment LINDAT-Clarin (Czech Republic) and The Clarin center at University of Copenhagen have received the official CLARIN B centre certificate: https://www.clarin.eu/news/clarin-welcomes-two-new-b-centres. There are now 11 certified B centres in the CLARIN infrastructure. A third assessment round is planned in the spring of 2014.
