<p>I hereby forward you the call for news item submissions to the CLARIN newsflash -- so if you have any news you want to share with the wider CLARIN network...</p>
<p>I also have not heard from many of you about my<strong> call for interest for the 19th of November</strong> to hold a meeting in Brussels with</p>
<p>a) before lunch: <strong>CLARIN-BE internal meeting </strong></p>
<p>b) <strong>demonstration of tools</strong></p>
<p><strong>Motivation: </strong>All groups that receive this email (and are hence members of CLARIN-BE) are spread over the whole of Belgium, and many of us don't know the others well or at all. Therefore I am convinced that for future cooperation it can only be good to get to know each other, by holding a face-to-face meeting where each of us can present the type of research their group is working on and what the relation with CLARIN is, whether you are a resource or tool <strong>builder </strong>or rather a <strong>user.</strong> This would allow us<strong> to activate you in your CLARIN-BE membership</strong>.</p>

<p>For both parts, I am wondering</p>
<p>1) whether you would be interested or not and</p>
<p>2) whether you would want to present / showcase something or just join as a participant to see what others have.</p>
<p><br /></p>
<p>So, please let me know, if you are not interested or don't know yet or have other maybe's, so I have an idea of your interests. </p>
<p>I would also like a response in case you cannot or don't want to participate. P<strong>lease let me know this before 30 September 2026. </strong></p>
<p>If you don't responsd at all, unfortunately I can only consider this as a lack of interest in CLARIN-BE, which in term may lead to your group being removed from the CLARIN-BE consortium. If you think this email should go to someone else of your group, tell them to subscribe </p>
